    Education Service Center, Region 11 provides services and assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of Early Childhood Education services. The Early Childhood team serves district leaders  and teachers of students from Pre-K to second grade. The following are offered as professional development and technical assistance opportunities for districts:

     

    Professional Learning Sessions

    (most are available at no cost to Region 11 Districts with an Instructional Solutions and Support contract):

    • CIRCLE Preschool Foundations Training (Pre-K) (2-day training) (materials fee)
    • CIRCLE Make & Take (Pre-K-who previously attended CIRCLE Preschool Foundations Training) (materials fee) 
    • Effective Early Childhood Instruction for Young ELs (Pre-K-1) 
    • Gettin' Techy with the New ELAR TEKS (K-2) 
    • Guided Reading, Strategy Groups, and Conferring, Oh My (K-2)
    • Learning the Ropes (for teachers who are new or new to Pre-K, K, and ECSE Settings) (3-day training, non-consecutive) 
    • Learning in Centers Series (PK-1) (4-day training, non-consecutive) 
    • Lone Star Literacy Institute (2-day training + coaching) (Kindergarten-Grade 1 & Grade 2-Grade 3) (materials + coaching fee)
    • Pre-K Guidelines Training: Starting Off Right! (Pre-K) (2-day training)
