Virtual Learning Opportunities
This is a Texas Workforce Charting the Course Initiative.

Preparing for the future should be a part of everyone’s education. The Texas Workforce Commission’s “Charting the Course” initiative, in collaboration with Education Service Center (ESC) Region 11, is designed to engage students with disabilities and their families in a series of education, awareness, and planning events that will support students’ transition to post-secondary education or employment after high school.
Free sessions for 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th -grade students and their families. Educators and Vocational Rehabilitation are always welcome!
Topics may include:
- Practical strategies for career development
- Postsecondary educational program options
- Self-advocacy
- Workplace readiness skill development
