Whac-A-Button

  • Whac-A-Button is actually two individual Whac-A-Button games that are mounted next to each other. The game is designed around an Arduino. Arduino is an open-source hardware and software company, project and user community that designs and manufactures single-board microcontrollers and microcontroller kits for building digital devices.

We decided to position the buttons in the X shape in order to place as many button on the space as possible.

How To Create:

Notes:

    • If you buy generic Arduino’s you will need to download the brand’s driver.

    • Use multi-colored wire as well as multi-colored tape to identify wires.

    • Use colored tape to label sets of wires. You will want to know which wires are for the button and which are for the lights in the button.

    • We made all of the wiring connections before mounting the buttons in our grid. We did not measure for the needed lengths of the wire. We were short on a few wire runs.
