• ESC Region 11 welcomes your coverage of the 2020 STEAM Carnival. Print, television, radio, and web outlets from across North Texas will be on-hand to report the news from this major education event.  Please see below for details and information for attendance.

    When should I be there?

Wednesday, March 4th is our scheduled Media Day.  Media outlets are welcome to join us on any of the days, but we have reserved Wednesday for time to interview and visit with our organizers and CTE Day participants.  To see the entire STEAM Carnival in action, it is recommended to choose a time between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  This will ensure all zones are in full swing with student participants.

Do I need to register for the event?

Registration for media is not required though it would be a good idea to contact Rory Peacock at rpeacock@esc11.net in advance for additional details.  Please bring your media credentials for access to student areas that are off limits to the general public for student and staff safety purposes.

What should I expect to see?

Media should expect to see exceptional student projects and programs from our area schools.  In addition, you will find vendor partners with attractions set up to provide student interaction in a learning environment that is fun.  With over 25,000 square feet of activity space, there will be multiple opportunities to see how fun learning can be.  STEAM education at its best!
