Comptroller Rules 9.4301 through 9.4317 set out the requirements and procedures for protesting the Comptroller’s SDPVS preliminary findings. Each protest of the Comptroller’s SDPVS preliminary findings begins with the filing of a petition with PTAD by the deadline – that is, within 40 calendar days after the date the Comptroller’s office certifies SDPVS preliminary findings of taxable value to the commissioner of education.
