Compliance Courses

 If you don’t have an account, follow these steps to create one:

1. Go to ESC Region 11 Professional Learning. 
2. Click "Create Account" button in the upper left-hand corner.  
3. Fill out your information.  
4. Select your district and campus.  
5. Click Save.

If your district is incorrectly listed (e.g., as "Univ/Agency/Other," "Daycare," or "In Region IX"), follow these steps to correct it:

1. Login at ESC Region 11 Professional Learning. 
2. Go to "My" dropdown → select Profile.
3. Change your District and Campus and/or update your email address.
4. Click Save.
5. Refresh the page to confirm the update.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Go to "Browse Catalog" dropdown → select District-Specific.
3. Your course bundle will appear.

Compliance courses are taken through Canvas. 

1. Go to https://esc11.instructure.com. 
2. Use the login (email and password) from your ESC Region 11 registration account. 

A. First, make sure you are using the primary email address associated with your ESC Region 11 registration account.

B. If you need to reset your Canvas password, follow these steps: 

1. Login at ESC Region 11 Professional Learning. 
2. Go to "My" dropdown → select Change Password.
3. Enter your current registration password.
   • If you received a temporary password, it will be entered here.
4. Create a new password (no symbols allowed.)
5. Click save, then refresh your the page to see the latest update.
   • Your Canvas password will automatically update to match your new registration password. This update may take a few minutes. 

Canvas only displays up to 20 courses on your dashboard. To manage this:

1. Click the course icon in the left-hand navigation column and select "All Courses".
2. Browse and select the courses you want to appear by clicking the star icon  in the Favorites column next to the title.
3. When selections are complete, click Dashboard in the left-hand navigation column to return to the dashboard.
   • Only starred courses will now appear on your dashboard.

1. Go to https://esc11.instructure.com. 
2. Use the login (email and password) from your ESC Region 11 registration account. 
3. From the dashboard, click on the "View Grades" button located in the right column.

If a course shows "no grade", the course has not been completed.

1. Select the course title from the "Grades - Courses I'm Taking" screen.
2. Click the "Modules" link in the left column.
3. Complete all remaining sections for the course. (Incomplete sections will NOT have a green checkmark.)

 If your final grade is below 80, you will need to retake the End-of-Course Assessment to meet the passing requirement.

Compliance transcripts are available after completing the course. To view your transcript:

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Go to "My" dropdown  → select Transcripts.
3. Click the "Check for new transcripts" link at the top of the page.

1. Go to ESC Region 11 Professional Learning. 
2. Sign in to your ESC Region 11 registration account.
3. Go to "My" dropdown → select Transcripts.
   • Click the blue "Evaluation" link and submit the evaluation.
   • Click the blue "Certificate" link in the last column to print your certificate.
     • NOTE: The completion of an evaluation releases the certificate link.
