Each year, the Technology Services Division hosts a series of special events that highlight new technologies, best practices and hands-on solutions that strengthen technology systems across districts and schools.

eSports Tournament
January 24, 2026
The ESC Region 11 eSports Tournament showcases competitive video gaming where students compete individually or in teams across popular titles through organized tournament play.
Now in its third year, the event highlights how eSports builds teamwork, strategy, and technical skills while fostering an engaging student community.
Top performers earn qualification for the state-level eSports competition.


STEAM Carnival
March 2-4, 2026
The STEAM Carnival offers students a three-hour, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
This in-person event features a Student Showcase, an interactive Midway with eSports, VR experiences, and engineering challenges, and dedicated areas for flight simulation, drone navigation, and rocket building.
The 2026 event will be held exclusively in person. Ticket sales begin mid-January.
Safety, Security & School Health Conference
May 8, 2026
The Safety, Security, and School Health conference brings district and campus teams together for a focused day on creating safe, healthy learning environments.
The event features a keynote address, breakout sessions, and resources addressing emergency operations, threat assessment, cybersecurity, and student and staff well-being.
Designed to share knowledge and practical insights into issues that threaten our districts daily, the conference offers helpful strategies for protecting the physical and digital safety of school communities.


Technology Vendor Fair
November 6, 2026
The Technology Vendor Fair connects district technology leaders, administrators, and service providers to explore tools and solutions shaping today’s educational technology landscape.
Attendees can engage with vendors, compare products and services, and learn about innovations supporting infrastructure, security, teaching, and learning.
The event offers hands-on demonstrations and expert insight to help districts make informed, future-focused technology decisions.
Fall Library Conference
November 18, 2027
The Fall Library Conference – Connections brings together librarians, library support staff, and campus leaders for a day focused on strengthening library programs and instructional leadership.
Participants explore innovative tools, emerging practices, and strategies that support literacy and learning.
The conference also provides opportunities to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and celebrate the impactful role of school libraries.
