Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC)

Texas Curriculum Resources (TCR) is an online curriculum management system designed to support Texas educators in implementing high-quality instructional materials. As part of the shared service agreement under TCMPC, TCR allows participating Education Service Centers (ESCs) to collaborate in managing and operating both TCR and the TEKS Resource System.

TCR consists of a collection of curriculum documents created to help educators effectively utilize Open Education Resources (OER) Bluebonnet Learning. These resources include key instructional materials such as the Vertical Alignment Document and the Instructional Focus Document. Designed to follow its own scope and sequence, TCR provides structured guidance for educators without following or aligning to the TEKS Resource System.

Currently, TCR offers curriculum support for various subjects and grade levels, including Bluebonnet Learning Math for grades K-5, Bluebonnet Learning Secondary Math for grades 6-8 and Algebra I, as well as Bluebonnet Learning RLA for grades K-5. These resources are designed to provide educators with flexible, standards-based support that aligns with Texas learning goals, ensuring students receive a well-rounded and effective education.

The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills Resource System (TEKS RS) is a systematic K-12 curriculum model designed, maintained, and continuously developed by a collaborative of Education Service Center personnel and exemplary educators from Texas school districts.

TRS provides a shared language, structure, and process for curriculum development via an easy-to-use online software delivery system. The curriculum model aligns the written, taught, and tested curriculum and is inclusive of research and best practices mentioned in the works of such notable researchers as Drucker, Deming, English, Wiggins, Erickson, Guskey, Marzano, Feuerstein, and Jacobs. All curriculum documents, resources, and assessment items are aligned to the TEKS.
