Instructional Coaches Academy

ESC Region 11 is partnering with districts, campuses, and individual educators for our Instructional Coaches Academy (ICA), a comprehensive professional learning experience designed to equip instructional coaches with the skills and strategies needed to drive impactful teaching and learning.
Program Details
The Instructional Coaches Academy includes four intensive and interactive training sessions designed to build foundational coaching expertise. In addition to the workshops, participants have the option to join virtual coaching support sessions that provide ongoing check-ins and problem-solving opportunities to help sustain growth and impact.
Here's an overview of what participants will gain:
- Essential Coaching Skills – Learn how to build strong teacher relationships, facilitate data-driven instruction, and provide effective feedback.
- Instructional Best Practices – Deepen your understanding of high-impact teaching strategies and how to support teachers in implementing them.
- Real-World Application – Engage in practical scenarios, role-playing, and case studies to refine your coaching approach.
- Optional Virtual Support – Stay connected with experienced coaches through an optional, virtual coaching session.
