Eligibility Criteria
The GoTeach11 certification program requires applicants to meet certain eligibility requirements before being able to enter our program.
Please review our eligibility criteria:
DEGREE
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Out of Country Applicants: Applicants who hold a degree from a foreign college or university must have their transcript equivocated from a state-approved evaluation center. A foreign transcript evaluation documenting the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree must be sent directly to us from the state-approved evaluation center.
GPA
Applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
Applicants must provide official transcripts from all colleges/universities that count towards their degree. Review the College Credit Hour Requirements to see how many transcript hours are required to qualify for each certification area. If an applicant does not have enough college credit hours, he or she may take and pass a specific TX PACT exam to qualify.
Out of Country Applicants: Applicants with a foreign transcript evaluation documenting the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree must also demonstrate college-level skills via the TSI and TOEFL-iBT. Please find information regarding TSI and TOEFL-iBT on the Texas Education Agency website here.

TExES EXAM HISTORY
GoTeach11 will review applicants' previous TExES exam history as part of the application evaluation.
APPLICATION & ENROLLMENT FEES
All applications must be submitted online. There is no application fee, but there is a $500 enrollment fee and a $37 state technology fee due upon admittance into the program.
