GoLead11 Superintendent

Two-thirds of classes are live via Zoom and one-third are asynchronous via Canvas.

Training includes seminars by practicing professionals, field-based experiences, and regular mentoring from a candidate-selected mentor.

The curriculum is built on the ten Texas Superintendent Competencies aligned with preparation for the TExES 195 Superintendent Exam. The program lasts one year.

GoLead11 Superintendent Certification Program allows applicants to join any month of the year.  Applicants should allow about one month for the application process to be completed and then join the following month.

• Hold a master’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on master’s degree
• Hold, at a minimum, a valid Texas Principal Certificate
• Receive district’s recommendation
• Perform acceptably on a writing sample (part of the application process)
• Perform acceptably on a video interview (part of the application process)

Individuals in school districts, charter schools, and private schools are eligible for entry into the GoLead11 Superintendent Certification Program. The school district, charter school, or private school does not have to be within ESC Region 11.

• $37 State Technology Fee
• $6,500 Program Fee
  • $500 due in the first month of the cohort
• $545.45 paid monthly for 11 months (payroll deduct is encouraged, but not required)
• $78 Standard Certificate Fee (paid directly to TEA upon successful completion of the program)

GoLead11 Superintendent Certification Program is a reputable, professional program that is known for its prompt customer service that ensures participants receive the help needed to be successful in the program.

At present, the program has a 100% success rate on participants earning Texas superintendent certification. Candidates will receive individualized support as needed from the GoLead11 specialist.

Since GoLead11 is an entity of the Region 11 Education Service Center, participants will learn from experts in the field and have access to the most up-to-date practices in school leadership.
