Guiding Leaders Toward Strategic Growth

ESC Region 11 is proud to launch the 2025-26 Executive Leadership Compass, a four-part professional learning series designed exclusively for superintendents and executive-level leaders across the region. Offered at no cost, the series equips leaders with tools to strategically guide their districts through change, build sustainable leadership pipelines, and drive continuous system-wide improvement.

“This series is about helping leaders see around the corner,” said Cindy Bills, ESC Region 11 Field Service Agent. “We know superintendents and their teams face constant change, whether it’s legislative shifts, financial pressures, or the evolving needs of students. The Executive Leadership Compass is built to provide direction, clarity, and actionable strategies to meet those challenges head-on.”

Each session includes timely TEA-aligned updates, expert panels, and high-impact district practices, ensuring participants walk away with practical tools that can be immediately applied in their districts. Topics range from aligning vision and culture to leveraging data for innovation to sustaining leadership momentum across an organization.

According to Carey Carter, ESC Region 11 Field Service Agent, the structure of the Executive Leadership Compass is intentional: “We designed each session to layer onto the next, so leaders aren’t just reacting to issues in isolation. Instead, they’re building a long-term framework for decision-making, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. It’s about leading with purpose and ensuring every choice connects back to student success.”
