Digital Learning Coach

I started my career in a tiny district just north of College Station named Mumford ISD.  I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade ELA over the course of 9 years while in Mumford.  My family then made the move to Fort Worth and I started a new job in Keller ISD teaching 6th grade language arts.  After one year with 6th grade, I made the switch to GT by serving as the GT specialist for my 5th/6th grade campus.  In 2010, I had the opportunity to move to the new 5-8 campus in Keller and I accepted a role teaching Gateway to Technology to 8th graders.  While in this role, I discovered that I LOVE middle school kids!  I continued in my role at the middle school for 3 years.  I was then offered an amazing opportunity to work in professional development at the district level and excitedly accepted.  While working with professional development, I worked with our district LMS, technology training, coaching and 1st year teacher academy.

I accepted a position at ESC Region 11 in September of 2016.  I started out as an Online Instructional Designer and then in 2017 I moved into the digital learning coaching role. My passion is blended learning.  For more information about blended learning, check out the links in the left menu.  I would love to work with you on implementing blended learning!
