Education Service Center (ESC) Regions partner to implement the Texas Lesson Study (TXLS) Professional Development program as part of the TEA Strategic Plan 2023–2027, set forth by Commissioner Mike Morath. TXLS is inquiry-based, job-embedded professional development where teachers work collaboratively to develop, teach, and assess research-based lessons. The TXLS program is a Vetted Program under the TEA's Effective Schools Framework.
TXLS serves the following ESF levers: 1.1, 4.1, 5.1, 5.3.
