    ESC Region 11 Library Services - Great support digitally and in area expertise.

    ESC Region 11 Virtual Field Trips - Field trips are informal learning experiences that get students out into the world, exploring the world and students' interests. Thankfully, there are great games, apps, and websites that can bring places and experiences fostered by field trips to the classroom. While not an outright replacement, these field trip tools can offer inspiring and intriguing experiences for students. Students are attending field trips from home while schools are responding to COVID-19 shelter-in-place requirements.

    Dallas Federal Reserve Bank - Education and Outreach- Their Navigate workbooks are free for student use.

    Discovery Education Experience-  (DEX, previously known as DiscoveryEd Streaming) is one of the resources that we provide through our ISS contract – but in addition to that, Discovery has now offered DEX to ALL schools for free through June 30.  Additionally, they have upgraded ALL accounts with their premium package as well.  This premium package contains an extensive collection of online interactive lessons for all content areas and grade bands that teachers can take, customize, and share virtually with their students. Discovery also seamlessly integrates with LMS tools, including Canvas and Google Classroom, and Discovery resources are heavily integrated into the TEKS Resource System TexGuides. 

    eDynamic Learning -  eDL will now provide Texas districts with immediate access to 2020-21 course licenses and Career Ready Programs.  This means that schools interested in eDL course implementations for 2020-21 can begin using their licenses and services now, at no additional cost. In addition, we are happy to turn licenses on now and begin providing support services immediately to get them up and running. Today our online courseware includes 150+ courses, serving 14 of the 16 career clusters with 3-16 courses in each cluster.  (Check on our online catalog here.) eDL courses are comprehensive.  They can serve as a textbook replacement or can supplement what you're doing in the classroom. 

    Food Handlers Certification - For 30 years, ServSafe has been at the forefront of preparing restaurant and food service workers to deliver safe dining experiences for their guests while also keeping themselves safe. Because of the challenges presented by COVID-19, we have developed a number of free resources aimed at keeping our workers and the dining public safe. Start training now! 

    Newsela - Whether your school is teaching through a closure or building plans to prepare, we’re here to help you ensure that learning doesn’t stop. We’re offering free access to Newsela’s entire product suite for the rest of the 2019/2020 school year.

    Free, at-home student ADOBE products, Creative Cloud apps such as Photoshop and InDesign if your district has current in-district student accounts. School IT Admins must request home access via an application form link.

    Chrome Extension Tools Blog for struggling and special needs students: In this blog post, we will take a look at over 30 Chrome web extensions that can assist students in five main categories:

    • Text to Speech
    • Readability
    • Reading Comprehension
    • Focus
    • Navigation

    Apple Education Learning Series - This video will help educators learn how to get up and running for remote learning with an iPad. We’ll explore ways to access school resources and find apps that support remote learning.

    Realityworks has offered Region 11 districts access to their online curriculum. Realityworks offers Ag, Family & Consumer Science, Health Science, Electrical Trades, and Welding.

    Innerbody - for HST Classes. Explore anatomy systems, health testing, and home health.

    Flipgrid - for use in any classroom while utilizing distance learning.

    Slidesmania - Digital notebooks for Google Slides or PowerPoint.

    UT Southwestern STARS Program- Calendar of Events - Website - They offer free programs, such as:

    • Virtual tours
    • Symposia - a variety of topics  
    • Exploring meetings for medical careers
    • Free access to virtual instruments such as microscopes and spectrophotometers 
    • Teacher training
