Welcome to the TxBESS Mentoring Online Training Modules!  Schools throughout Texas use the TxBESS Framework as the foundation and organization of teacher mentoring activities for teachers new to the profession as well as new to a specific district or teacher assignment. 

 

The goal of these online training modules is to provide you with practical information to assist new teachers and to provide an path to understanding the importance of mentoring in today's schools.  The activities are designed to give practice with the coaching activities and further your knowledge in the area of teacher mentoring.

 

Sections are divided by training topics, and we have also included an section for all activities that you will want to visit first.  Please click on each Section Title to the left to access the training information. Additionally, the appendix gives resources for follow-up and use in your role as an administrator or mentor.
