Region Eleven Telecommunications Network Video Streaming with VBrick Region Eleven Telecommunications Network (RETN) has a new videoconferencing recorder by VBrick. The system is used primarily for the recording of interactive videoconferences for live and archived playback of collaboration, professional development, content, meetings, and special events delivered over the RETN network. Use of this system is intended for members of RETN. However, a registration is not required for the viewing of general videos that are not categorized as private. To access the VBrick video streaming server open a new browser and type the following link into the address bar. http://vbrick.esc11.net. Do not link from this page. An issue exists that will not allow the videos to play if linked from this page. For video recordings that are designated as open to all, click on the link for unregistered users. You do not need to log in. Video recordings that are designated as private and are targeted to a specific audience will require an RETN member to register with a username, password, and contact information. Access to private video recordings will be granted only if the request meets the targeted audience requirement. The general rule is if you were invited to the original meeting, then you would be considered the targeted audience. After accessing VBrick, the easiest way to find your video is to make sure you are in the "Asset Library". If you do not see folders, click on the "Asset Library" link in the banner. Then enter a word contained in the title of the video in the "Find" box and click "Search". If you know what folder your video is in, you can navigate and browse the available folders. If you have technical problems, questions or want to request recording of a videoconference, please contact Pat Schmuck (817) 740-7616. |
