These districts have joined the 2009-2010 Regional Title IID Collaborative and thereby have provided FREE services to their teachers. Benefits include:

Texas TTCC

Free registration fee ($100 value) for qualified teachers through the Texas Teacher Technology Competency Certification program.

TexasTTCC has recently been revised and professionally reprogrammed to make it more "user friendly." It still addresses all the SBEC Technology Applications standards and performance indicators. Teachers still demonstrate their proficiency through an electronic portfolio system, but uploading artifacts has been made much easier.

A good way to find out if teachers are ready for this assessment is to use the Teachers Checklist available on the TexasTTCC Web site.

Teachers from Title IID Cooperative districts, who are ready to be assessed, may register at any time by going directly to the Texas TTCC System site and click the link to set up an account. When asked for payment, choose “My district will pay” and enter 2DSSA for the PO number.

Teaching with Technology

For teachers from Title IID Cooperative districts interested in the certification, but who are not quite ready for the assessment, free professional development, aligned with the assessment, is available through the online professional development catalog.
